Accommodations for Students with Disabilities

It is the policy of National Park College to create inclusive learning environments. If there are aspects of the instruction or design of this course that result in barriers to your inclusion or to accurate assessment of achievement, such as time-limited exams, inaccessible web content, or the use of non-captioned videos, notify the instructor as soon as possible, preferably during the first or second week of class. Then, it is the student’s responsibility to contact the Disability Specialist, to verify disability and to request appropriate accommodations. Students should contact the Disability Specialist by telephone at 501-760-4227 (v/tty) or via email at rhendrix2@np.edu. For more information, visit the Disability Services website at http://np.edu/students-services/disability-services/. Students who need accommodations should inform the instructor at the beginning of the course.

Accommodations will only be provided if the instructor receives a letter of approved accommodations from the Coordinator of Disability Services. Failure to provide sufficient notification may result in a delay of services.
