Course Load

Course load refers to the number of classes or hours spent in class a person takes while in college. NPC defines course loads as follows:
- Full-Time Status: 12 or more credit hours per term
- Three-Quarter Status: 9-11 credit hours per term
- Half-Time Status: 6-8 credit hours per term
- Less Than Half-Time Status: 1-5 credit hours per term
