Instructor Complaints/Problems/Grievances

This guideline applies to all students (including online and out-of-state students).

Issues of grievance regarding grades, course requirements and classroom procedures can occur. The first and best source for resolving the problem is with the instructor. The College expects most issues to be resolved amicably and informally with the instructor. In the event a solution is not possible, the next person to speak with is the instructor’s Division Chair.

To determine the Division in which a course is taught, refer to the Academic Abbreviations  page.

Division Chairs:

Business, Technical & Professional
Jennifer Lyons

Communication & Arts
Roger Fox

Math & Sciences
Dr. Chuck Argo

Nursing & Health Sciences
Janice Ivers

Students can call NPC at 501-760-4222 or toll free at 1-844-806-8752.

If a student must report an unresolved grievance, the student may complete the student complain form at https://www.adhe.edu/students-parents/colleges-universites/student-grievance-form. Resolutions by ADHE are final.

Grievances regarding student grades or conduct violations are governed entirely by institutional policy and Arkansas law, and will not be considered by ADHE.
