Transferring to a Four-Year University

Many services and resources are available at NPC to help you plan for the future. If you are heading for a senior college when you finish at NPC, you need to enroll in courses here that are appropriate for your major as well as courses that will transfer to the four-year university of your choice. Transfer services, including degree checks, transfer equivalency information, catalogs and program brochures, four-year visit scheduling, and scholarship information, are available through Student Services and the Student Support Services program, both located on the 2nd floor of the Gerald Fisher Campus Center.

National Park University

Earn a bachelor’s degree without leaving home. National Park University (NPU) offers junior and senior level coursework through our partnerships with participating colleges and universities. These partnerships provide access to a variety of degree programs. Our goal is to bring degree opportunities to you without the burden of traveling to another campus. All classes are held on the NPC campus or offered online. We are actively working to expand these opportunities for Hot Springs and surrounding areas.

Four‐Year Colleges on Campus and Transfer Day

Colleges and universities in the surrounding area routinely have representatives visit NPC. Representatives from these colleges and universities are here to answer your questions regarding programs and services, tuition costs and scholarships, as well as to arrange campus visits and explain transfer processes. Transfer Day is held in the Spring and this is an opportunity for you to meet with representatives from most of the four-year Arkansas colleges and universities.

Requirements

Most four-year colleges and universities accept a maximum of 64 transferable credit hours from NPC toward a Bachelor (four-year) degree at their university. For more information, contact one of the academic advisors on the 2nd floor of the Fisher Campus Center.
