ECE 1283 - Special Needs 3 Credits
A survey of the most frequent kinds of disabilities likely to be encountered in child care. Includes name recognition of common syndromes, acceptable professional attitudes, ways of communicating with parents, use of equipment helpful in management, and when and how to refer special needs children. Required for all options.
