PNP 1445 - Medical Surgical Nursing II

Covers common conditions of illness. Includes nursing care of patients in acute, subacute or convalescent stages of illness of short and long term duration, nutrition and administration of drugs. Builds on concepts from PNP 1351 - Medical Surgical Nursing I.

Prerequisites: PNP 1307 - Basic Concepts Of Nursing, PNP 1331 - Gerontological Nursing I, PNP 1342 - Pharmacology I, and PNP 1351 - Medical Surgical Nursing I and PNP 1364 - Clinical And Clinical Research I. Corequisite: PNP 1432 - Pharmacology II and PNP 1456 - Clinical & Clinical Research II.
