POSC 1012 - Avian Biology 2 Credits
Students will be introduced to the biological sciences associated with poultry. Topics will include avian origins, types of domestic poultry, basic anatomy/physiology, poultry care/husbandry, and disease recognition. This course will serve as a foundation for poultry production courses.
