AST 1403 - Engine Performance II 3 Credits
In this course the operation of computer sensors and their effect on drive ability will be covered. The use of computer scan tools, lab scopes, four-gas exhaust analyzers, and chassis dynamometers will be used to monitor the vehicles fuel, ignition, and electrical systems. Diagnostic procedures and troubleshooting will be stressed.
Prerequisites: AST 1803 - Engine Performance I . Corequisite: AST 1202 - Automotive Lab III .
