EGR 1143 - Engineering Graphics 3 Credits This course is a general study of graphics and the types of engineering drawings used in design. A foundation course in lettering, sketching, drafting standards, geometrical exercises, and orthographic projections. Introductory use of CAD software is an integral part of the course therefore students are required to have access to a computer. Students use one or more CAD software packages to draft and model various objects.
Prerequisite: Eligible for enrollment in MATH 1123 College Algebra or completion of LAD 9024 Foundations of College Math with a grade of “C” or better, or two years of high school algebra and compliance with state/NPC test standards.
