HIT 2222 - Professional Practice Experience I

Professional practice experiences in acute care, ambulatory care, rehabilitation, long-term care, and home health. Emphasis on record management, release of information, statistics, indexes and registers, and special projects.

Prerequisite: Permission of instructor.

Course Level Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to: 1. Apply principles learned in the classroom to the healthcare setting. (PLO 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) 2.
