This course is designed to assist general education students with the skills needed for success in both college academics and life after college. The course will focus on you as a learner and participant in college society, and the habits of mind that characterize the college experience.

Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to:

Engage with campus resources that support academic and personal success. (GEO 3)
Analyze personal and behavioral factors that impact student success and apply strategies for resilience, persistence, and goal achievement. (GEO 2, 3)
Apply time management, study strategies, and self-care practices to balance academic, personal, and work responsibilities. (GEO 2, 4)
Evaluate the credibility of information and demonstrate responsible use of digital tools and online platforms. (GEO 2, 4)
Demonstrate financial literacy skills by creating a budget that addresses the role of financial aid, scholarships, and responsible money management in college success. (GEO 3)
