HSEM 1003 - Introduction to NIMS and NRF3 Credits This course introduces the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and he National Response Framework (NRF). Upon successful completion, students will demonstrate an understanding of the ways in which government, private-sector, and nongovernmental organizations to work together during domestic incidents. Further, students will gain knowledge of the planning actions that support preparedness, the actions that support a national response, and the organizations employed in multiagency coordination. Priority will be given to those students seeking a Certificate of Proficiency in Homeland Security/Emergency Management.
