3CreditsThe course introduces the student to respiratory care as a profession and the role and responsibilities of the respiratory therapist in today’s health care environment. Course content provides a beginning foundation for students to build the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that are required as a respiratory therapist and for success in the program. Students will also be oriented to the policies and procedures of the NPCC Respiratory Care Program. Lab fee.
