The purpose of this program is to elevate, through a rigorous training program, entry level Basic Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) to the classification of Paramedic (EMTP). After fulfilling the requirements of this program, graduates are qualified to sit for both the Arkansas State and the National Registry Paramedic Exams. This program exceeds the standards set forth by the U.S. Department of Transportation EMS-Paramedic guide and the Arkansas EMTP Training Site requirements. Special admission requirements apply to this program. Students must submit a Health Sciences application form and meet with the Program Director, 501-760-4158.
