Graduation Map: Respiratory Care, AAS for Transfer to UAFS Bachelor of Science (BAS Emphasis Management & Leadership)

National Park College (NPC) students who have completed an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Respiratory Care degree may transfer into the Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree program at the University of Arkansas at Ft. Smith (UAFS).  This BAS degree provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary to either assume management and leadership roles in business and industry or to enhance current employment. The BAS degree is not specific to any NPC program area or concentration.

This semester-by-semester plan reflects the requirements to complete the Associate of Applied Science in Respiratory Care degree. Each student’s experience will vary slightly, as this plan does not include developmental courses or transfer courses. Math and English placement will be based on the student’s Accuplacer or ACT scores.

This plan assumes the student is prepared to take the courses listed. If prerequisites or developmental courses are required they should be taken in the first semester, and additional semesters may be required to complete this degree. However, courses should be scheduled in the sequential order as shown here.
