About This Degree

This curriculum is designed for those who plan to obtain an Associate of Applied Science in Respiratory Therapy degree at National Park College (NPC) and transfer to the University of Arkansas for Medical Science to complete a Bachelor of Science in Cardio-Respiratory Care.

Prerequisite NPC courses and/or developmental courses may need to be taken in addition to this suggested plan of study.

UAMS Pre-Admission Requirements:

  • Applicant must have earned the National Park College Associate of Applied Science in Respiratory Care
  • Applicant must have a current NBRC RRT credential (or completion with 6 months from graduation if the student is a new graduate.)
  • Applicant must meet other University requirements

Please note: Completion of all Pre-Admission Requirements does not guarantee admission to the program
