The Practical Nursing technical certificate* is a 10-11 month program that, when completed, enables the individual to apply for licensure and to write the National Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (LPN).

Prerequisite Mathematics

Students entering the Practical Nursing Technical Certificate program have an Accuplacer Elementary Algebra score of 51-76 (or equivalent ACT or Compass score) and be eligible to enroll in Foundations of College Math 2.
