Associate of Arts



The Associate of Arts Degree (A.A.) gives students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university the opportunity to complete the first two years of coursework leading to a baccalaureate degree. According to the Arkansas Division of Higher Education (ADHE), Associate of Arts degree graduates may be required to complete additional lower-division courses.  

The Associate of Arts degree may be completed in several ways: Traditional Plan  or Fully Online

General Education Core - 42 Credit Hours


NPC Requirements - 5-6 Credit Hours


Electives - 12-13 Credit Hours


AA electives include any college-level course selected from any discipline area, including career and technical areas.  

Select courses to equal 12 credit hours.
