MATH 1293 - Introduction To Statistics* 3 Credits Introduces the student to elementary statistical concepts using a basic algebra background. Topics include: organizing and analyzing data, probability, normal distribution, central limit theorem, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, regression-correlation, Chi-Square and ANOVA (basic).
Prerequisite: Eligible for enrollment in MATH 1123 College Algebra or completion of LAD 9024 Foundations of College Math 2 with a grade of “C” or better, or two years of high school algebra and compliance with state/NPC test standards.
