1CreditsCritical Thinking Applications I will provide opportunities for the first semester nursing student to practice in simulated patient care situations within a laboratory setting. Nursing skills and procedures, within a nursing process format, will be utilized to stimulate the student to think critically, problem solve, and make clinical decisions while applying fundamental nursing principles and evidenced based practice guidelines. Quality and safety principles are also emphasized throughout the course.
