LAD 9024 - Foundations of College Math 24 Credits This 4-credit hour course provides a formal development of the algebraic skills and concepts necessary for successful completion of MATH 1123 College Algebra* . Level 2 will include the following: Polynomials; Factoring; Rational Expressions; Radical expressions; Quadratic Equations; Graphing Linear Equations; and Introduction to Functions. This course includes 2 hours per week lab time.
Prerequisites: Placement score of ACT 19 Math or COMPASS Math Pre-Alg 57/Alg 36 or higher or ACCUPLACER Elem Algebra 76-108/College Algebra 40-62 or LAD 9014 Foundations of College Math 1 with a grade of “C” or better. This course includes 2 hours per week lab time.
